Worli Library

MSWC operates a well stocked free library in the heart of Mumbai city for use of students and for adults who wish to come in and read. The library has a formidable collection of over 35000 English, Hindi, Marathi books, and is a popular place for people with access to reading material which is otherwise often unaffordable for them. The Centre provides a reading room for study, a Study Centre where discussions take place, a children’ s Activity Centre which undertakes summer workshops and contests for young readers, and access to career guidance and counseling for young adults who have no one else to ask.

A Community Study Centre for students has been opened in the premises. Supported by Samara Capital and inaugurated in January 2015, it is especially useful during the exam season. Students with no access to a peaceful place to study through the day and late into the evening have adopted the Community Study Centre as a quiet haven. The number of users continues to grow with each passing day.
