Foster Care

The Foster Care Committee was founded by the Maharashtra State Women’s Council in 1970.  We have completed over 55 years of service in providing educational assistance to the community.  We support children from poor families facing acute financial problems due to the death of earning members.  All children under our N.G.O.’s sponsorship scheme are pursuing their education. Since, 1970, we have helped nearly 20,000 children. They have completed their education. We are happy and feel proud to announce that our children have qualified as  I.T engineers, doctors, teachers etc., and are settled in life. In 1970, we were helping around 75 to 100 children every year. At present, around 250 children are provided educational help up to Std XII. Around 50 to 60 children complete their Std XII every year. Most of them pass out with distinction.  In their place, we enrol other children wanting to pursue their education.

    How You Can Help?

    Donate

Thank you for choosing to support us. Foster Care makes a difference to the lives of a few children who are desperately in need of financial assistance. Many more could, however, benefit from it. Donations to Foster Care will be used to expand the scope of coverage, and make the program more efficient by employing qualified people to conduct homes studies and mentor the beneficiaries.
Donations may be made through cheque / demand draft or credit cards / debit cards and online bank transfers
