As we do each year, MSWC fielded a large contingent at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon held on 18th January 2015. Over 60 participants, including girls from Asha Sadan, boys and girls of the Street Children Project, office bearers and well-wishers joined hands to form a splash of red proudly waving MSWC, Asha Sadan and Street Children Project banners.
This year also saw corporate participation from five companies who supported our cause by fielding runners wearing charity bibs that they bought from Asha Sadan. Over 75 runners participated in the half marathon and the dream run.
All of us at MSWC are deeply grateful to these companies for supporting our cause.
This year also saw two runners who ran to raise funds for MSWC projects. Lara Gidvani and Ramesh Venkat raised a substantial sum through donations secured from their family and friends for MSWC by running for us.
